1. Agreement
By using this website, joining the Relic Hunter family email list, sending a message, or playing any game on this site, you agree to these Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Ownership of Content
Everything on this site — including the books, the free story Boaz and the Night the Stars Fell, all games and game content, the characters Steve Massey and Boaz, all artwork, music, text, and design — is the property of Andy Massey and is protected by copyright and trademark law. "The Relic Hunter Chronicles" and "Boaz" and all associated characters and likenesses are proprietary marks.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to read and play the content in your browser. You may not copy, reproduce, screenshot for redistribution, record, republish, sell, scrape, data-mine, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission. Requests for permission may be sent through the site's contact form.
3. Game Access Keys
Some games require an access key. Keys are issued by us by email to verified members as a reward, are personal to you, and may not be shared, published, sold, or transferred. We may revoke keys or change which games are publicly available at any time. Games marked "under construction" are provided as-is previews and may change or go offline without notice.
4. Information We Collect
- What you give us: your name, email address, and (optionally) a phone number when you join the email list or send a message.
- Approximate location: when you sign up, we record a city/region-level location estimate based on your internet connection, to help us understand our readership and protect the site from abuse. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Anonymous analytics: pages visited, referring site, browser type, language, and time zone. No cookies are used for tracking and no data is sold or shared with advertisers — ever.
Your information is stored securely in our own database, is used only to deliver the free story, game keys, series news, and replies to your messages, and is never sold. You may request deletion of your information at any time through the contact form, and we will honor it promptly.
5. Children
This site celebrates books written for children, but the email list and contact form are intended for use by parents and guardians (ages 18+) or teens 13+ with a parent's permission. Parents: if you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information without your consent, contact us through the site form and we will delete it promptly.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to submit false information; attempt to access administrative areas or other users' information; interfere with, reverse-engineer, or attack the site or its games; or use the site for any unlawful purpose. We may remove content, revoke access, and delete accounts or records that we believe are fake, abusive, or in violation of these terms, at our sole discretion.
7. Messages You Send
Messages sent through the contact form are private between you and us. By sending fan mail, you grant us permission to quote brief excerpts (first name only, never contact details) in promotional materials unless you tell us otherwise in your message.
8. Disclaimers
The site and games are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes & Contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do. Questions and requests (including data deletion) can be sent through the contact form.
